About us
The Greek Node of the European Research Infrastructure (RI) METROFOOD-RI (https://www.metrofood.eu/) aims to provide high-level metrology services in food and nutrition sector to enhance the quality and safety of food at national, regional, European and global level.
The Greek Node (METROFOOD-GR) is supported by groups of scientists with physical and electronic infrastructures located in specific departments and laboratories of 6 different institutions of the country: Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Agricultural University of Athens (AUA), Chemical Metrology Laboratory-IARP (EXHM), Mediterranean Agricultural Institute of Chania (MAICH), Center for Public Health Research and Education (CPHRE) of the Academy of Athens and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (NMR) Center of the University of Ioannina (UI).
The Greek Node is coordinated by AUTH according to the sharing model (Hub and Node).
